I have always loved sewing from a young age, watching my Mum making outfits for my Barbies and clothes for my sister and I. I would also tinker. Sewing and reading patterns came naturally and I started making and selling at school fairs, then tried different shops until where I am today. I am a Mum of 2 teenagers and work full time, I com
I have always loved sewing from a young age, watching my Mum making outfits for my Barbies and clothes for my sister and I. I would also tinker. Sewing and reading patterns came naturally and I started making and selling at school fairs, then tried different shops until where I am today. I am a Mum of 2 teenagers and work full time, I completed 22 years in the Royal Navy and absolutely loved every minute.

I am very particular about every element of my makes. From the pattern, to the colours, the detail, the eye catching aspect and if something just doesn't look or feel right, I will re-do and re-do until it is just right! I drive myself mad but if I think, erm or that's not good enough, then I would think someone else will think that to, so that's not good enough for me. A perfectionist, I wish but close to as perfect as I can do.

The dream ... that I sell my items and they are loved. I do and they are so I am pretty much a happy bean indeed. I would love to own a shop but I am extremely lucky to have found Heather Jane & Co and sell my items in 3 of their shops. Steve and Jane are amazing and there business and creative sense is second to none. I can achieve working, making and being in the shop one day a month.
